Nothing captures the spirit and essence of your beloved pet like a photograph. A private portrait session helps to capture the natural beauty and joy of your pet.

Doghouse Arts specializes in private pet photography sessions aside from action and agility canine photography services. We will travel to a chosen location, your home, your pet's favorite spot, park, trail, beach, or whereever your pet is most happy at. Each private portrait session takes anywhere from 1 to 3 hours long. Before the session, we will do a short consultation on location, time, duration, the the temperament of your pet and other stylistic preferences.

Before we begin your session, our photographer and assistant will play and get to know your pet and you so that the feel is more comfortable and natural.

Our services include travel, photo session, proofs, digital files, consultation, full color or b&w prints, matting and print delivery. We offer multiple border and processing options. We also offer custom handbound album services.

Private pet photography sessions can be done in traditional black and white and brilliant full color. Archival prints can be in glossy, matte or luster, even canvas. Photographs taken at private sessions can also be used as reference images for lithographs and charcoal portraits. To order prints of your private portrait sessions, check our PhotoReflect Store. Our fees start at $150 per session lasting up to 2 hours for up to two pets at one chosen location one or $300 for 2 separate sessions lasting up to 3 hours each at 2 different locations. These two sessions can be used to include one session of portraits and one session of agility photos. Location shots can be shared with one other friend as long as the total number of pets do not exceed 3 animals.

Each one location session includes 1 archival 8x10 print (3 8x10 prints for multiple location sessions), 2 5x7 prints, digital online proofs for you to share with friends and purchase from, and a CD of all your shots in web quality thumbnail format. Additional products such as T-shirts, mugs and calendar as well additional prints are available through our website. We also have proof products and albums.
